Volta Power Systems Powers Tiffin Motorhomes’ First Class B RV

Volta Power Systems

Volta Power Systems partnered with Tiffin Motorhomes as the RV-maker debuted its first Class B camper van, the Cahaba, at this year’s America’s Largest RV Show in Hershey, Pa. The van is equipped with Volta’s lithium-ion storage system that allows owners to simultaneously run high-powered amenities, including all-night air conditioning, while eliminating the need for a generator.

Among the highest-capacity storage systems available for Class B RVs, the Cahaba’s four-module Volta system offers users more than 12,100 watt-hours of usable power from the pack, recharging through a shore power connection and from the 6,900 watt alternator while driving. Cahaba owners will also have early access to one of Volta’s latest innovations, their 3,200-watt low-profile inverter, accompanied by a user-friendly touchscreen control display for simplified system use.

“We provide our customers with the best, whether it’s service, interior finishes, or power storage,” said Andy Baer, Tiffin’s general manager. “Volta’s lithium system is quiet, it stores a lot of energy, and the alternator means it can recharge on the road. Cahaba owners are going to love the Volta system.”

Added Jack Johnson, co-founder and chief technology officer of Volta Power Systems: “People looking to buy a Class B are looking for flexibility, and Tiffin has a reputation for very high quality and comfort. We’re proud to partner with Tiffin, and we know that having our auxiliary power system on the Cahaba will provide users with the flexibility, convenience, and lifestyle they’re looking for.”
