Wisconsin Dells KOA Holiday Celebrates Expansion, New Patio Sites
Kampgrounds of America Inc. (KOA) announced that Wisconsin Dells KOA Holiday has completed a major campground expansion project that brings new accommodations and upgraded amenities to one of Wisconsin’s most popular camping destinations.

Conveniently located near the area’s famous waterparks, attractions, restaurants and outdoor recreation opportunities, Wisconsin Dells KOA Holiday serves as a family-friendly basecamp for guests exploring one of the Midwest’s most popular vacation destinations, KOA said.
Recent improvements include the addition of new deluxe KOA Patio RV sites and upgraded campground infrastructure that create even more opportunities for campers to relax and enjoy the outdoors. The new sites feature spacious stamped-concrete patios, Polywood outdoor furniture and grilling areas that create comfortable spaces for families and RV travelers to relax and enjoy the outdoors.
To commemorate the completion of the expansion project, Wisconsin Dells KOA Holiday planned to host a Ribbon Cutting Celebration on Thursday, June 18. Community members, local business leaders, tourism partners and campground guests were invited to attend and celebrate the campground’s continued growth and investment in outdoor hospitality.
“These investments reflect our ongoing commitment to providing an exceptional camping experience for our guests,” said Nate Thompson, a partner KCN Campgrounds and owner of Wisconsin Dells KOA Holiday. “As we continue to grow, we’re focused on improving the amenities and accommodations travelers are looking for while helping families create lasting memories in Wisconsin Dells.”
Campgrounds like the Wisconsin Dells KOA Holiday have a significant economic and cultural impact on local communities. According to KOA’s annual Camping and Outdoor Hospitality Report, campers injected $66 billion into local economies in 2025, with the average camper spending more than $200 daily while camping. Campers are looking to experience the history and culture of local regions, 33% say they are interested in visiting small towns, and another 38% are drawn to historic sites.
KOA Holiday campgrounds are ideal base camps for exploring the area, or simply enjoying a fun-filled stay with plenty of activities, KOA said. Whether for a longer getaway or an overnight stop, KOA Holiday campgrounds offer amenities and services that make every stay memorable. Each KOA Holiday offers full-service RV Sites with a KOA Patio and Deluxe Cabins with full bathrooms.
Guests can choose from RV sites, Deluxe Cabins, Camping Cabins, glamping tents and tent camping accommodations while enjoying a wide range of family-friendly amenities. From the heated pool and splash pad to the giant playground, KampK9 dog park, pickleball court and planned seasonal activities for guests to relax, reconnect and make lasting memories together.
