2026 RV PRO RVeterans Honoree Renee Horn
Outside Sales Representative, Land ‘N’ Sea Distributing, 30 years in the industry

In the RV world where relationships are everything, Renee Horn has built a reputation on trust.
When Renee recommends a product, customers know it is one she genuinely believes in, not a sales pitch. When challenges arise, she digs in, finds answers and guides customers to a solution.
That relentless follow-through has made Renee a valued partner to customers and a valuable employee to Land ‘N’ Sea Distributing, where she works as an outside salesperson, covering central and north Texas, Oklahoma, Louisiana and Arkansas.
Renee has a reputation for turning relationships into results. She stays ahead of market trends, uncovers new business opportunities and works closely with internal teams to ensure customers always receive the products, support and service they need.
What sets Renee apart is the way she personalizes every relationship. She tailors her approach to each dealership. She loves introducing dealers to the latest products and innovations, while helping their employees feel confident in their roles and comfortable doing business with Land ‘N’ Sea.
Renee has worked in this business from almost every angle. At the dealership level, her roles have included parts clerks, service writing, warranty adviser and parts manager. From a wholesale perspective, she has been both an inside and outside sales rep.
Renee’s experiences have also sharpened her judgment, strengthened her credibility and earned customers’ and coworkers’ trust.
At Land ‘N’ Sea, she is a go-to resource for process improvements, problem-solving and practical guidance. Her historical perspective helps the organization recognize what works and what doesn’t and identify opportunities to operate more efficiently.
Renee is also deeply invested in the people around her. Whether onboarding new employees, mentoring teammates or helping dealership staff gain confidence in their roles, she fosters a culture built on support, knowledge-sharing and professional growth.
Her passion for RV’ing extends far beyond the job itself. When she is not working, Renee hooks up her fifth wheel and heads to Texas state parks to meet up with her camping club for weekend adventures.
What it means to Renee to work in the RV industry this long:
It has given me so much joy to have the relationships I have with so many other RV professionals and customers.
Renee’s advice for younger people just starting their careers:
I tell so many of the younger people just starting in the industry to stick with it. It is a very challenging profession to learn, but once you get it, it is so rewarding. There are so many opportunities for growth, once you get the knowledge and experience under your belt, the world is your oyster.
