As vice president of global sales for TST and its parent company PSI, Kellie Taube oversees all sales activities across OEM and aftermarket channels, leading teams that support RV and commercial vehicle segments. She plays a key role in strategic planning, budget development and identifying growth initiatives tied to top-line revenue and gross margin targets.
With a blend of technical expertise, commercial insight and hands-on leadership, she has helped shape the direction of TST’s global sales organization while strengthening how the company shows up to customers across the RV and commercial vehicle markets.
Kellie’s leadership style is best described as hands-on and deeply engaged. She operates as a “player-coach,” staying close to the details while guiding her team toward broader objectives. She works directly with customers and internal stakeholders, maintaining a presence that reinforces accountability and collaboration. And she leads by example: never assigning work she wouldn’t take on herself. That mindset has helped foster a culture built on trust, consistency and shared responsibility.
She is an advocate for the voice of the customer, consistently bringing insights back to product development, operations and marketing teams. By translating real-world feedback into actionable direction, she helps ensure that TST’s offerings stay competitive and aligned with market needs. Her ability to bridge external expectations with internal execution plays a critical role in differentiating the company in a crowded marketplace.
Kellie has also optimized the structure and performance of the sales organization by implementing a CRM platform and defining key performance indicators. The tools established a communication framework and performance monitoring system, while ensuring her team maintained operational autonomy and avoided excessive oversight. The result is a balanced environment where expectations are clear, communication is consistent and teams are empowered to succeed.
Kellie’s ability to lead through change is equally notable. When tasked with leading the RV sales division, despite her initial lack of direct experience, she rapidly fostered connections with clients and distributors, gained a thorough grasp of market trends and acquired the expertise needed for assured leadership.
Throughout her career, Kellie has challenged traditional demographics by hiring and developing women within her organization. Her background as a mechanical engineer further strengthens her credibility, allowing her to navigate technical discussions with confidence and break down preconceived notions through expertise and performance. She also supports broader initiatives such as Women in Trucking, contributing to efforts that promote inclusion across the commercial vehicle space.
Her engineering background continues to be an asset in her role, enabling her to serve as an effective liaison between sales, engineering and operations. This technical foundation allows her to approach challenges with analytical rigor while maintaining a practical understanding of how decisions impact both customers and internal teams.
At the core of Kellie’s leadership is a collaborative mindset and a genuine passion for the work she does. She creates an environment where communication is open, goals are aligned and teams are working together toward shared success.
According to leaders at TST: “Kellie’s leadership of our sales and marketing efforts has been instrumental in evolving our team to the next step in our growth. We are in the process of appointing a new commercial business leader who will be working in concert with her to maintain consistency in our value proposition across all markets.”
Kellie’s advice for up-and-coming women in the RV industry:
Be curious, inquisitive and prepared. Do your homework, ask thoughtful questions and truly understand your customers’ business — their goals, challenges and direction. Come to the table with insight, solutions and value. Commit to continuous learning and share that knowledge with others. Be both a mentor and a coach. Give credit where credit is due, generously. When you help your colleagues grow and succeed, you elevate the entire team. Speak up and advocate for yourself; if you want that next promotion, ask for it. Then work hard, deliver and succeed.
What it means to Kellie to be a Women in Business honoree:
I am humbled and truly appreciate being recognized among so many talented women in this industry. I started my career as a mechanical engineer in the automotive industry, in an era where catcalling women walking the long aisle of the assembly line floor was acceptable. Early on, I was interviewed and accepted into a prestigious co-op program in college, then once degreed, not considered for management roles. Working in traditionally male-dominated fields my whole career, it’s good to finally see the world shifting toward recognizing hard work and the ability to contribute over gender.
