From running sales reports, dealer inventory reports, change orders, flooring units, working RV shows, helping the reps where they may need it while they are traveling on the road and setting up dealers in the system. Kristin is known as “the backbone of the sales department” at Heartland RV.
As sales administrator, Kristin plays a critical role in the day-to-day and long-term success of the sales organization. She serves as the operational backbone between sales, finance, production and leadership, ensuring accuracy, efficiency and accountability at every stage of the sales process.
Her responsibilities include managing sales documentation, pricing accuracy, order processing, dealer communication, reporting and internal coordination. Beyond execution, Kristin proactively identifies inefficiencies, implements process improvements, and ensures the sales team can focus on growth while knowing operations are handled with precision and consistency.
Kristin demonstrates leadership not through title, but through ownership, initiative and influence. She consistently anticipates needs before they become issues and brings thoughtful, solution-oriented ideas to leadership.
She has introduced and refined systems that improve workflow, reduce errors, and increase transparency. Her ability to see both the strategic and operational sides of the business allows her to innovate processes that are scalable, repeatable and sustainable.
Her leadership has elevated the professionalism and effectiveness of the entire sales organization.
Over her 16 years with the company, Kristin has taken ownership of processes that go far beyond her job title. She leads by example through consistency, accountability and problem-solving. When obstacles arise with orders, production or communication, Kristin doesn’t wait to be told what to do. She steps in, coordinates the right people and drives solutions to completion.
She was deeply involved in the complex migration of Heartland’s legacy systems into Jayco’s existing platforms — an effort that required exceptional attention to detail, adaptability and cross-functional coordination. While managing a heavy workload behind the scenes, she ensured continuity in sales operations, pricing, order processing and dealer communication.
Despite the scale and complexity of the transition, she made the experience seamless for both new and long-standing customers, minimizing disruption and maintaining confidence in the brand during a critical period of change. Her work helped preserve dealer trust, sustain revenue momentum and ensure operational stability throughout the integration.
Kristin is a trusted mentor and advocate for women within the organization and the broader RV industry. She willingly shares knowledge, offers guidance and provides encouragement — especially to women stepping into new or traditionally male-dominated roles.
She leads by example, showing that expertise, confidence and integrity are powerful drivers of influence. Her willingness to invest in others has helped foster a more inclusive, supportive culture where women feel empowered to grow, lead and succeed.
Kristin’s advice for up-and-coming women in the RV industry:
My advice is to be flexible. I have held many different roles throughout my career. I have always taken every opportunity to learn different aspects of the RV manufacturing business. The ability to be multifaceted has helped me to advance and evolve.
What it means to Kristin to be a Women in Business honoree:
I am honored to be recognized by my coworkers at Heartland RV. Receiving this nomination is extremely humbling and acknowledges that my hard work and dedication is being noticed by others. I hope that the recognition of myself and my fellow honorees will inspire other women to break barriers and create new opportunities for themselves. Lastly this recognition will show my daughter, Presley, that being a wife, a mother and having a successful career is possible.
