What advice do you have for up-and-coming women in the RV industry?

Believe in yourself and your abilities. As a woman in the RV industry, you may face skepticism from those who underestimate you based on outdated expectations. Instead of letting that hold you back, use it as motivation to showcase your expertise. Skill and knowledge speak louder than assumptions — regardless of size, gender, age or background. You’ll be surprised how quickly perceptions change when your work speaks for itself.

What does it mean to you to be a Women in Business honoree?

I am truly honored to be recognized as a Women in Business honoree. Starting an RV repair business was a bold leap, and it was intimidating not just because I’m a woman, but also because of my age. I’ve encountered plenty of doubt and challenges along the way, and I know there will be more ahead, but I can honestly say it’s all been worth it. I’ve grown so much as an RV technician, business owner and as a woman throughout this journey, and I feel like I am only getting started. I’m very grateful for the opportunity to share my story and hope to inspire others to take that leap of faith, no matter how daunting it may seem at first.
