Kampgrounds of America, Inc. (KOA) announced Dec. 16 that John Cascarano and Blue Metric Group (BMG) has acquired Branson KOA Holiday. With deep experience in hospitality and outdoor property investments, BMG’s focus is to elevate great outdoor destinations like the Branson KOA Holiday, positioning them for long-term success, according to a press release from KOA.

Near Table Rock Lake in the Ozark Mountains and Branson’s renowned live entertainment corridor, the Branson KOA Holiday offers outdoor relaxation and RV sites, Deluxe Cabins, and easy access to Branson’s attractions, theaters and restaurants.

“Branson is one of the country’s most beloved drive-to destinations, with a unique mix of outdoor recreation and family entertainment,” said John Cascarano, owner of the Branson KOA Holiday and managing partner of Blue Metric Group. “The Branson KOA Holiday checks every box, strong fundamentals, loyal guests, and incredible potential for thoughtful upgrades that elevate the experience.”

Campgrounds have a significant economic and cultural impact on local communities. According to KOA’s annual Camping and Outdoor Hospitality Report, campers injected $61 billion into local economies in 2024, with the average camper spending $200 daily while camping. Campers are looking to experience the culture of local regions, with 27% of campers saying they are interested in visiting small towns, and another 27% drawn to food tourism.

KOA Holiday campgrounds are ideal base camps for exploring the area, or simply enjoying a fun-filled stay with plenty of activities, KOA said in a release. Whether for a longer getaway or an overnight stop, KOA Holiday campgrounds offers full-service RV Sites with a KOA Patio and Deluxe Cabins with full bathrooms.

The Branson KOA Holiday features a seasonal pool, camp store, group pavilion, playground, and shuttle service to Branson shows. Guests can find a refreshed camp store featuring local goods, upgraded Deluxe Cabins and patio RV sites, and a new “Basecamp” concept with shaded gathering areas, games and rotating food trucks or live entertainment. Planned capital improvements include fiber-backed Wi-Fi, modernized bathhouses and laundry, pickleball courts, an expanded dog park, and future glamping accommodations such as safari tents and tiny cabins.

Cascarano and his team also plan to enhance both the property and the community around it, KOA’s press release said. BMG plans to hire and develop local talent, collaborate with nearby attractions and restaurants to create exclusive packages that encourage visitors to spend more time locally, and extend Branson’s tourism season with shoulder-season events and group stays.

The Branson KOA Holiday is one of more than 500 open-to-the-public KOA campgrounds in the U.S. and Canada. Other brands in the KOA Family of Campgrounds include KOA Journeys, convenient locations after a long day on the road that feature long pull-thru RV Sites, and easy after-hours check-in. KOA Resorts offer an abundance of staff-led activities, on-site dining, group meeting space, and more.

Located at 397 Animal Safari Road in Branson, the Branson KOA Holiday is open all year.
