Industry Associations Reflect Ahead of 2025’s Close

“As we head into the holiday season, I want to extend my warmest wishes to each of you and your families,” said Susan Carpenter, president of the RV Women’s Alliance. “This time of year is a reminder of how much we can accomplish when we stay connected and support one another, and I’m proud of the way our association has come together throughout the year. On behalf of the board and leadership team, thank you for your time, involvement and continued commitment. Your energy and contributions made this a truly great year, and I’m grateful for all of you. The following was sent to members of the Canadian RV Association (CRVA) from president of the association, Shane Devenish:
“On behalf of the Canadian Recreational Vehicle Association, I would like to extend our warmest wishes to our members, partners, and friends for a very happy holiday season.
As the year comes to a close, I reflect on a year marked by significant challenges, and I am truly grateful for the strength and collaboration across our industry that carried us forward.
This year, as part of CRVA’s 50th Anniversary, I had the privilege of traveling across Canada — meeting dealers, manufacturers, campground owners, and many RVers along the way.
From coast to coast, the year became truly memorable — making new friendships, having meaningful conversations, and providing me the chance to reconnect with many longtime industry partners in the RV community.

Those experiences reinforced what I have always known: the RV industry is about far more than products or places. It’s about people, partnerships, and the freedom to explore and it was an honour to represent CRVA to such an engaged and dedicated community.
As we look ahead to the new year to come, we do so with cautious optimism — fully aware that challenges remain, but confident in the strength and resilience of the industry we all share.
Wishing you and your loved ones a joyful holiday season and a Happy, Healthy, and Prosperous New Year.”
