Camping World Holdings is set to acquire Mount Comfort RV in Greenfield, Indiana, which predominant selling Forest River, Coachmen, Tiffin, Newmar, and Winnebago products. The transaction is anticipated to close in the fourth quarter of 2023 and will increase the company’s Indiana location count to three.
“Mount Comfort is one of the premier RV dealers in America,” said Chairman and CEO Marcus Lemonis. “They bring expertise and talent which help strengthen our already No. 1 position in Indiana.”
This is Camping World’s 200th store, and the purchase comes in the middle of a year when buying and opening new stores is the company’s top priority.
Other recent acquisitions and new store openings include California, Wisconsin, Oklahoma and Wyoming.
