OHI Touts Music Licensing Program

Outdoor Hospitality Industry (OHI) is offering its music licensing program for RV parks and campgrounds to utilize.

“At OHI, we understand the importance of providing our members with tangible benefits, and our music licensing program is no exception. Our team has negotiated discounts that substantially lower the regular rack card license rates, effectively easing the financial commitment for your park. In fact, the rates we have negotiated are by far the best rates in the industry, so you will save the most purchasing your music licenses through OHI.

“Beyond the financial advantages is an even more valuable proposition – when you choose to license through OHI, you shield your park from the inconvenience of unsolicited communications or unwarranted pressure from a PRO (performing rights organization) throughout the entirety of the licensed calendar year,” the organization said.

Music licensing is an integral part of ensuring your business is legally covered under U.S. Copyright Law. When it comes to music licensing, each PRO represents a different group of songwriters, composers and publishers, so being licensed by all four PROs allows a business to be fully covered. The OHI Music License Program is the only program in the industry that covers all four PROs — ASCAP and BMI, SESAC and GMR.

“Did you have OHI music licensing in 2024? Your 2025 invoice has already been generated and can be viewed in your OHI member portal under ‘My Invoices.’ Please pay invoices in your OHI portal to be in compliance for the 2025 calendar year. To participate in OHI’s discounted music license program you must have an active OHI membership,” OHI said.

“Want to confirm that OHI’s pricing is truly the best in the industry? You don’t have to take OHI’s word for it. Connect with the OHI membership department and they can put you in touch directly with representatives from the PROs who can verify that your best deal is with OHI.”

Invoices for 2025 music licensing coverage must be purchased by Jan. 11, 2025. After this date, the PROs will not allow OHI to accept payments, except in cases of new membership or recent acquisition.
