2024’s Women in Business Honorees
Meet 10 women, nominated by their peers, who are changing the face of the RV industry.
Statistics show that half of workers in the United States are women, according to a March 2024 report from Independent Women’s Forum. Not only that, but 16% of U.S. households have women as the primary or sole breadwinner, and in 29% of households, women earn the same amount as their spouse.
What’s more, women comprise 35% of the United States’ 10 highest-paying occupations, which is up from 13% in 1980.
Women are making strides, yes. And women are gaining recognition for their hard work and dedication.
But there’s a long way to go.
Women still make only 77 cents for every $1 a man earns. Only 10% of Fortune 500 companies have female CEOs, and according to a World Bank Group report, nearly all countries performed poorly recently on measurements of child care and women’s safety.
A 2024 Women at Work survey by SurveyMonkey showed that only 39% of working women secured a pay raise so far this year, down from 44% last year. In addition, 1 in 5 women said their work-life balance has gotten worse; 50% who said it’s worse said this was due to increased workload.
While women continue to find successes in the workplace, the need to continue to support other women and empower them to reach further than they may have deemed possible is imperative. That’s why RV PRO is proud to introduce you to the 10 women on the following pages, all who were nominated by their peers to be recognized for their dedication to their companies and to furthering the mission of supporting women in the RV industry. As we’ve said in years past, the chance to recognize the significant contributions that women make in the RV industry is one we don’t take lightly here at RV PRO. We thank the nominators for helping us highlight the achievements of these accomplished women, and we thank our sponsors for supporting this important effort.
Now, please meet RV PRO’s 2024 Women in Business.
