Campers Inn Acquires Two More Locations
Don Littlefield, principal of the Boat-N-RV family of superstores and the Factory Direct Marine & RV organization (Boat-N-RV) has sold his Albany, N.Y., and Hamburg, Pa., dealerships to Campers Inn RV. A purchase price was not disclosed.
Boat-N-RV will continue to operate its dealerships in Rockwood, Tenn., Ridgeland, S.C., Americus, Ga., and Palm Harbor, Fla.
“This announcement is bittersweet as we say goodbye to our wonderful teammates in Albany and Hamburg who have represented our company in tremendous fashion for decades,” said Littlefield. “However, we’re excited the Hirsch family and Campers Inn see the opportunity to invest in these markets and are acquiring the dealerships. Campers Inn brings significant resources to our team and customers at both locations. Selling these dealerships will allow us to increase the focus on our marine manufacturing and retail operations.”
“I want to thank Don Littlefield and Geof Hoffman for giving us the opportunity to include their Pennsylvania and New York locations in Campers Inn’s expansion,” said Campers Inn CEO Jeff Hirsch. “I’m excited how we continue to give our customers options for their RVing needs. We pride ourselves that our customers are welcomed regardless of which of our 29 locations they choose. I’m equally excited for the employees of these two locations, as well as our existing employees, as we continue to provide each of them with excellent career opportunities.”
