PleasureLand RV announced it is proud to support the new Minnesota Military & Veterans Museum through the donation of a cargo trailer that will be used to help collect and transport historical artifacts and memorabilia for the museum.
The trailer has been custom wrapped with Minnesota Military & Veterans Museum graphics and will provide museum representatives with a dedicated resource for safely picking up and transporting important pieces of military history from throughout Minnesota and beyond, PleasureLand RV said in a recent release.
“We are extremely proud to have the opportunity to support something as meaningful as this,” said Brad Bacon, president and CEO of PleasureLand RV. “What has been created with this museum is truly special and a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for our area. When we learned there was a need for a trailer to help collect and transport memorabilia and artifacts, we were happy to find a way to help.”
The new state-of-the-art, 40,000-square-foot Minnesota Military & Veterans Museum is located on a 32-acre campus just outside the gates of Camp Ripley. The museum will tell the stories of Minnesotans who have served through immersive exhibits, restored military vehicles and aircraft, interactive galleries, archival collections and more than 25,000 artifacts.
“Preserving these pieces of history is incredibly important because every artifact has a story behind it,” Bacon added. “We are honored that PleasureLand RV can play even a small part in helping preserve those stories and honoring the men and women who served our country for generations to come.”
The donation is also part of PleasureLand RV’s ongoing commitment to giving back to the communities it serves, the company said. Through charitable contributions, community partnerships and employee involvement, PleasureLand RV continues to look for opportunities to support organizations and projects that make a lasting impact.
The Minnesota Military & Veteran Museum will celebrate its Grand Opening Weekend Sept. 11-13. The museum is located just north of Little Falls, at the Randall exit, along Highway 371. The museum will offer visitors a unique opportunity to experience Minnesota’s military history and learn the stories of the men and women who served. The public is encouraged to attend the grand opening and experience this one-of-a-kind new destination dedicated to preserving Minnesota’s military history for generations to come, PleasureLand RV said.
