RVDA of Canada, HR Covered To Provide HR Resources to Members
The Recreation Vehicle Dealers Association of Canada (RVDA of Canada) is pleased to announce a new partnership with HR Covered, providing RVDA members with access to a range of practical human resources services and resources at no charge.
For many RV dealerships, managing HR responsibilities is part of running the business, but dedicated HR resources may not always be available. From developing workplace policies and finding the right forms to keeping up with changing employment requirements, knowing where to start can be one of the biggest challenges.
With this new member benefit, RVDA members don’t have to start from scratch, the association said.
Through the partnership, members will have access to:
HR Hub: 1,000+ HR Documents, Policies and Forms
Members can access the HR Covered HR Hub, an extensive library of more than 1,000 up to date HR documents, policies and forms designed to comply with federal and provincial legislation.
The HR Hub has a regular value of $990 per year and is available to RVDA members at no charge.
HR Education Through Webinars
Members can also access HR Covered’s webinar programming covering a range of HR related topics. The webinars provide an opportunity for dealership owners and managers to stay informed and gain practical knowledge without having to navigate HR issues on their own.
Compliance Policy Manual
One of the partnership’s key benefits is the opportunity for members to have a compliant policy manual created at no charge.
Members who book a consultation will participate in a 30 to 45 minute virtual meeting that includes an HR compliance assessment, an overview of workplace requirements, discussion of employment standards and common law considerations, employment contracts and potential areas of risk.
“You don’t have to be an HR expert to know that your dealership needs the right resources in place,” said Eleonore Hamm, president of RVDA of Canada. “This partnership gives our members a practical place to start. Rather than spending hours searching for policies, forms and information, members can access resources and expertise through HR Covered as part of their RVDA membership.”
HR Covered supports more than 2,000 small businesses and not-for-profit organizations across Canada, with a focus on HR compliance, employment law and workplace safety documentation.
“At HR Covered, we’re thrilled to partner with RVDA of Canada to give their members direct access to the HR support they need to run their dealerships with confidence,” said Shawn Brown, chief growth officer at HR Covered. “Small businesses are often the backbone of their communities, but they rarely have the same in-house HR resources as larger companies. Through this partnership, RVDA members gain access to the same practical tools, education and expertise that support HR Covered’s more than 2,000 clients across Canada — helping them stay compliant, protect their business and spend less time worrying about HR so they can focus on what they do best.”
The new program is designed to provide ongoing value to RVDA of Canada members, the association said. In addition to the initial launch, HR Covered will communicate directly with members to help them access the available resources and answer questions about the program.
