2026 RV PRO RVeterans Honoree Glenn Goetzinger

Owner & Service Manager, Glenn's Camper & RV Service, 57 years in the industry

A second-generation RV technician, Glenn Goetzinger learned his skills from his father, who learned in the U.S. Army during WWII. His father also taught him electric, plumbing and HVACR (heating, ventilation and air conditioning systems).

Glenn currently holds several state HVACR Master licenses, an electrical license, LP gas and natural gas license. He consults for commercial, industrial and residential HVAC companies covering North America and is the owner of Correct Air Engineering located in Maryland. All this on top of being the owner and founder of Glenn’s Camper & RV Service, an independent service center.

Glenn passes on his knowledge by instructing other service mechanics, proctors technicians’ EPA certifications and offers hands-on training. He oversees all services and inspects work before RV is returned to the client. He consults with clients on service work and required maintenance needs for RVs. He also teaches clients how to perform simple tasks and how to know and understand an RV.

“He’s willing to teach new technicians on off hours, builds training boards to teach others and shows technicians and office staff how to give the client the very best experience,” his nominator writes. “As the boss, he also mentors everyone in doing the best and being their very best. He teaches teamwork, that quality of work matters and to always do the right thing even if no one is watching.

“He’s always looking to give the technicians something new to learn each day by showing multiple methods and giving a full explanation on each method. He always listens to techs’ questions and gives them a complete answer with full explanation.”

What it means to Glenn to work in the RV industry this long:

My father taught me several trades starting in 1969. Now [I’m a] HVACR licensed master, licensed electrician, licensed gas fitter and RV service and restorations mechanic. From a young age, I was working and performing at least two of these trades daily. I have worked them steady all my life, giving me the vast knowledge in handling all RV service needs. The RV industry allowed me to meet and work with great clients. The ability to help my clients with quality work at a reasonable price has always been my main drive. Finding solutions for any problems that may arise and giving good honest service to clients that are very appreciative.

Glenn’s advice for younger people just starting their careers:

Learn all you can. Always be honest and fair with your clients. Treat clients as close family, and always give them more than they ever expected with your service and quality of workmanship. Do your job right the first time.
