Tony Flammia Named Campus Director of NRVTA
The National RV Training Academy (NRVTA) has named Tony Flammia campus director, bringing a longtime member of the school’s leadership team into a role focused on the student experience and the academy’s continued development.

A former full-time RVer, Flammia came to Athens around the time NRVTA began teaching classes there. He worked side by side with Todd and Stephanie Henson to help develop the school and its systems, supporting a hands-on approach to education that helps students build understanding and confidence through practical application and repetition.
“Being part of this school since its early days has been incredibly rewarding,” said Flammia. “I’ve had the opportunity to see so many lives changed as students gain confidence, start new careers and build businesses of their own. The relationships I’ve developed with our students and staff mean a lot to me. It’s the people who make this school special, and I’m excited to continue building on what we’ve accomplished together.”
Previously serving as director of marketing, Flammia’s involvement has extended across several areas of the academy. He has worked with teams to build awareness of careers in RV service and inspection, support enrollment growth, develop the admissions team and improve communication with prospective students. He has also contributed to curriculum redevelopment through content review and the development of instructional materials, along with efforts to strengthen alumni resources and support.
As campus director, Flammia will focus on streamlining systems and improving coordination across departments to provide a consistent, supportive experience throughout each student’s time with NRVTA. That includes helping students prepare before arriving, supporting their learning on campus and maintaining access to resources after completing their education.
“My focus is on making the entire experience better for our students,” Flammia said. “Before they arrive, they should know what to expect and feel prepared. While they’re here, they should be able to focus on learning with a team that supports them. After they leave, we want them to stay connected to resources that help them put their education to work. Having been here for so long, I understand what we’ve built and where we have opportunities to improve.”
Flammia brings additional experience in business ownership and leadership, including overseeing sales, marketing, development and nationwide representatives. His background combines team management, communication and practical experience developing systems that support an organization’s goals.
Outside of work, Flammia is married and has six children and two grandsons. He enjoys spending time with his family and riding sportbikes.
