2026 RV PRO RVeterans Honoree Jennifer Sugden
Sales Manager, Tri City RV, 30 years in the industry

For over 30 years, Jennifer Sugden has built her reputation around a simple philosophy: do what you say, treat people right and stand behind your work.
As general manager of Tri City RV, Jennifer is known for the time, care and relentless attention she brings to the business every day. Whether it’s early mornings, late nights or stepping in wherever needed, she stays focused on improving the dealership and the customer experience.
Much of her impact comes from refining customer service-driven processes that support the sales and service departments. She is constantly looking for ways to make the customer journey smoother, transparent and dependable. That commitment shapes the culture of the family-owned business and raises the standard for how customers are treated long after the sale.
The results of her efforts are reflected in the dealership’s online reviews, where customers consistently praise the communication, honesty and follow-through Jennifer instills throughout the organization.
Having grown up in the business, Jennifer understands success in the RV industry involves building relationships, solving problems and supporting customers throughout their ownership experience. Her vast knowledge equips her to handle challenges the right way, not simply the easy way, which protects the customer experience and the business’s reputation.
Jennifer leads by example. Employees see firsthand how seriously she takes communication, accountability and customer care. That consistency crafts a workplace culture where the expectation is to get the job done in a way that earns trust and keeps customers coming back.
She is also a mentor to employees across the organization, helping newer team members navigate difficult customer situations, understand processes and learn the “why” behind decisions. Colleagues describe her as approachable, dependable and always willing to share her experience to help others grow.
Jennifer is also actively involved in local business organizations and youth sports programs, supporting small businesses and opportunities for children in the community.
Through decades of industry evolution, Jennifer has remained a steady and trusted presence who shows that true success embodies taking care of customers throughout their RV journeys.
What it means to Jennifer to work in the RV industry this long:
Working in the RV industry this long has really meant being part of something bigger than just selling or fixing units. It’s about helping families create memories that stick with them for years, whether it’s young kids on their first camping trip or grandparents spending time with the next generation.
Camping just brings a different kind of joy. It gives people a chance to slow down, relax and enjoy the outdoors. Sitting under the stars, hearing the crickets at night and listening to the crackling of a campfire after a long day, those are the moments people remember.
That’s what has made it so rewarding. The RV is what makes it all possible, giving people the freedom and comfort to go out and enjoy those experiences together.
Jennifer’s advice for younger people just starting their careers:
For younger people just starting their careers, I’d say find something that gives you a reason to show up and do your best every day. For me, seeing the excitement on people’s faces when they’re getting ready to go camping is what keeps me motivated. Being part of that experience and knowing you played a role in it goes a long way.
Stay positive and surround yourself with optimistic people. That kind of mindset makes the tough days easier and the good days even better. I’ve always found that true campers tend to have that outlook, and it’s something worth carrying into your work and everyday life.
If you focus on doing right by your customers, take pride in your work and keep that positive attitude, you’ll set yourself up for a strong and rewarding career.
