What measurable impact has Denyse had on Century Chemical?
Denyse started in production right out of high school at Century Chemical, working for the previous owner. She strove to learn all aspects of the company. As she excelled at a job and moved up in the business, she began to think about the possibility of one day owning the company. When the previous owner was ready to sell and retire, Denyse took the opportunity. Because of working in all aspects of the business in her career, she brings knowledge and expertise into the room. She has a can-do attitude with the best laugh around — you always know where she is, and it always puts a smile on your face. This attitude truly sets the culture for the team.
How does Denyse contribute to the ongoing support and growth of women in the RV industry?
Denyse is the chair of the community service taskforce for the RV Women’s Alliance (RVWA). She has spearheaded the “I Support The Girls” campaign this year. She also heads the community service with the Girls Scouts at the RVWA campout and organizes and participates in the RV Habitat for Humanity build. She attends the RVWA Educational Symposium every year and gives back to multiple organizations and sponsorships.
Can you share a specific challenge Denyse has faced in her career and how she overcame it?
While climbing the ranks in the company, Denyse was continuously challenged with if she could do the job or not. She had to prove that she could do it and do it better, her nominator says. Through perseverance and pure determination, Denyse excels at what she puts her mind to.

She always puts others first. She is a wonderful mother of two great children. She gives back to the community and the industry — if there is something needed, she is there to lend a helping hand.

What advice do you have for women in the RV industry?
Be kind to yourself! No one is perfect — everyone makes mistakes. Keep being your authentic self, and you’re sure to make genuine connections and continue to grow personally and professionally.
What does it mean to you to be a Women in Business honoree?
To be included with this group of women and recognized alongside them means the world to me. It shows that we are making a difference! I wouldn’t be who I am without confidence from mentors, support from my business partner, ex-husband and friend, and the trust of our team. Being a Women in Business honoree means the path I am on is the right one for me and that our mission to connect communities and uplift others has made an impact.
